Hey... first of all.. THANK YOU for all the responses to my post. Well... I went into work this morning .. where my bike was and I started it up and none of the same problems happened??? weird isn't it. could it be that whatever was fouled up in my carb fixed itself??? I then started it again 4 hours later and drove it home.. about 6 miles or so.. many stop lights. It never stalled or anything.. no more black smoke either? Well... I will find out tomorrow if it goes back to that problem. so I am crossing my fingers. Thanks again for all your help. This site is very useful. Where is everyone at?? I am in Bakersfield CA.
